Charity Check is a quick and efficient way to share information among benevolent agencies to help avoid fraud and to ensure that those who need help are receiving it. As member agencies enter information about individuals seeking help, that information is stored in a common database that can be accessed by others in the network. No longer will you have to worry whether their need is valid or not. By having the information to make a better decision, you can be assured that your help is going to those who truly need it. Through Charity Check you can become a better steward of your organizations funds.

Also, with our reporting feature, your organization can prepare reports for internal or external use. A community agency can be selected which has the ability prepare reports on all agencies for statistical analysis to use in securing grants or preparing community reports.

When an individual requests help from your ministry, simply enter that information into the database. How Does Charity Check Work?

Charity Check is a web based network. An agency simply needs a computer with access to the internet. There is no special software or hardware required. Simply log onto our website and you are ready to being using our secure and private network.

After receiving your application and registration fee (see rates), Charity Check will authorize the username and password that you chose when applying. Afterwards, you can log onto our web site here at www.charityck.com. Here you can enter our member area with your new username and password. Once inside you can choose to search the database by Social Security number or Driver's License number. If the individual is already in the database you can browse their history of receiving help. Then you update the database with the assistance given by you or denied by you.

If when you perform a search the individual is not found then you create a record with our user friendly form. Immediately the record will be ready for review by the next member church that is sought for assistance from the individual.
